RawScan has four tabs, a sentiment pill, and a daily brief — and each one measures something different. Most people open every tab and treat them like four versions of the same hot list. They aren't. Here's what each surface actually tells you, and the order a desk analyst would read them in.
1. Daily brief + Fear & Greed pill — the regime. 2. Swing 1–3d — experimental momentum, 1 to 3 day holds. 3. Boosts — who's paying for attention today. 4. Breakouts (Pro) — live charts to confirm. 5. Verify on DexScreener before anything leaves your watchlist.
The /brief/ page is one dated summary of the whole market — macro, majors, and what's moving — regenerated daily. Pair it with the Fear & Greed pill in the header. If sentiment reads extreme greed while your watchlist is full of new tokens, you're stacking risk on risk. The regime tells you how much risk the day deserves before you look at a single coin.
The Swing 1–3d tab aggregates CoinGecko trending coins and top 24-hour movers into a 1-to-3-day momentum read. It answers "what's already moving," not "what's about to move" — by definition, momentum signals lag the start of the move. It's explicitly experimental: useful for spotting rotations (e.g., privacy coins catching a bid after an upgrade announcement), dangerous for assuming the move continues. We use its output as one input to our bot's franchise score — blended with AlphaPulse data — never as a standalone green light.
The Boosts tab shows DexScreener's paid promotions: teams spending real money to get their token in front of traders. This is the most misunderstood tab on the site. A paid boost is evidence of marketing spend, not quality. Sometimes it's a serious team launching a real product; sometimes it's the marketing layer of a pump. Read it as a map of where attention money is flowing — and cross-check the other way: a token with heavy boosts, thin liquidity, and no real product is a pattern our paper-trading data keeps flagging as dangerous.
The 🔥 Breakouts tab puts live candlestick charts on the highest-conviction signals, gated behind RawScan Pro ($3.99/month). Charts don't predict — they confirm or deny. What you're checking: is volume actually rising with price, or is this a thin wick on no volume? Our bake-off data says the average 24-hour return on new-token signals is deeply negative, so a chart that shows clean volume-backed movement is the rare exception worth noticing.
Under the hood, RawScan publishes a public signals.json feed: every signal scored 0–100 with its sources (boost, trending, momentum), refreshed on a 40-minute cron. Our own paper bot consumes it — the "$25 rawscan" tags in our trade log come from this feed. And if a token passes your full workflow, the ⇄ Swap CTA routes to NovaSwap (0.3% flat fee) for self-directed trading. Nova never touches your funds; the swap executes in your own wallet.
RawScan answers where attention is — it never answers whether attention is right. The brief, the sentiment pill, the swing momentum, the paid boosts: four instruments measuring four different things. Play them together like a desk analyst, verify everything on DexScreener, and remember the base rate: most new tokens go to zero.
