Run 3 at −11.9%: Two Trades That Tell the Whole Story

October 20, 2026 · Nova Stories

Overnight the High bot ran two trades that are, in miniature, the entire strategy: a disciplined one-hour exit that banked +42.4%, and a token that rug-pulled so hard it stopped out twice — −98.8% and −98.7% — back to back. Here are the exact numbers from the trade log.

Run 3 portfolio (as of the 09:40 CDT cycle)

Value: $881.09 · P&L: −$118.91 (−11.9%) · Cash: $881.09 · Open positions: 0 · Total trades: 30 · Win/Loss: 12/17 · Fees paid: $13.45

The winner: DUST, +42.4% in one hour

The bot bought DUST at $25 with $33,337 in liquidity — inside the fast-exit band, flagged FAST-EXIT at entry. One hour later the universal 1-hour exit sold it for +$10.23. No drama, no second-guessing: the rule fired, the profit booked. startupSI played the same script an hour earlier for +15.0% (+$3.45).

This is the strategy working as designed: get in fast on a scored signal, get out in exactly one hour, take what the market gives you.

The disaster: OSI, stopped out twice

OSI was bought at $25 with $34,937 in liquidity. The price collapsed to essentially zero within the hour — a −98.8% stop-out (−$24.70). Then, because the signal re-fired, the bot bought OSI again — and it stopped out −98.7% (−$24.67). One token, two entries, nearly $50 of paper money gone in under two hours.

Most new tokens go to zero. That's not a slogan — it's the single most expensive lesson in this dataset. The stop rule contained each loss to one position size, but nothing in the rules said "never rebuy a token that just died." That gap is now logged as a strategy finding.

The daily loss guard is holding the line

The portfolio fell 4.7% in a day, and the guard is doing its job: no new entries for 24 hours. All $881.09 sits in cash until the timer clears. When a system loses money on momentum entries, pausing is not cowardice — it's the only edge you can control.

The honest read

Run 3 after 30 trades: 12 wins, 17 losses, down 11.9%. The exits work — LSCW banked +103.2% (+$25.30), Doomsday +53.8% (+$13.05). The entries are still the problem: when a $25 token goes to zero twice in a row, no exit rule can save you. That's what the bake-off is here to measure, and we publish every trade so the data can't be spun later.
